Maternity Boudoir Session | Michaela

Michaela and I laughed for her ENTIRE maternity session in my Maryland boudoir studio! You’ll see as you scroll through her images that there’s something absolutely infectious about her smile.

After re-connecting for her pregnancy announcement session earlier in the year, I was so excited when she reached out to set up a boudoir session to surprise her husband on his birthday.

Michaela truly embodies that natural pregnancy glow! She joked with my make up artist Cara and I that we might need to be more patient as she got in and out of the make up chair because she still wasn’t quite used to her shape or swollen ankles, even after 7 months.

Michaela was approximately 7.5 months pregnant for this boudoir session, which seemed to be the magic time for her to be visibly glowy and pregnant but not worried about bedrest or back pain. I made some small adjustments to my posing directions in order to keep her comfy while still looking like a smokeshow.

I loved this last photo so much that its hanging in my studio. That eye contact is  **chefs kiss** just such a smokey, sexy gaze!
