I love learning about all of the unique ways that my couples love one another. Stephanie and George both expressed that their love language is quality time. I knew that there was no better way to capture their relationship in its truest form than spending some quality time doing something that they already love to do, walking around their favorite neighborhood for a Georgetown winter engagement session.
We started the morning near the water, watching the sunrise and getting that golden hour glow from the east. I love Georgetown winter engagement sessions because of the variety of scenery, from the historic cobblestone streets to the wide open waterfront views.
Tips for your Georgetown winter engagement session:
Dress accordingly! DC can be chilly in the winter months, especially near the water, so make sure you wear clothing that you can feel comfortable and relaxed in during your session. No one wants to be shivering while having their photos taken!
Another way to alleviate the chill of a winter engagement session is to plan a few locations where we can pop-in during your session. This could be your favorite coffee shop, bar, or restaurant in the area. Stepping in from the cold is a great way to reset, plus you can grab photos at a place that you love to go together. A win-win!
