Cherilyn and Justin’s east coast garden wedding at Market at Grelen was an autumn dream come true. Their wedding was planned by The Evergreen Collective, and filled with beautiful fall decor against the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Cherilyn’s lush bouquet and wedding florals were designed by Brousseau Events. She found her wedding dress at Sage Bridal in Fairfax, and her hair and makeup were done by Holly Beauty Partners.

Cherilyn and Justin opted to forgo a traditional “first look” in lieu of seeing one another for the first time as Cherilyn walked down the aisle. Instead, they exchanged letters before the ceremony and read them in private. Their east coast garden wedding ceremony was held in the garden at Market at Grelen, officiated by Sacred Ground Ceremonies.

Following their ceremony, Cherilyn and Justin stepped outside for some sunset portraits at Market at Grelen. This venue is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, just outside of Charlottesville, Virginia. The scenery surrounding the venue is incredible in the fall. We caught a vibrant sunset against the beautiful autumn leaves. To see another garden wedding, click here.

Their reception was held at the Orchard Overlook Tent at Market at Grelen, with scenic views of the surrounding landscape and a view of the central Virginia night sky. I love the romantic details in their tent, from the autumn floral palette to the cafe lights strung across the tent ceiling. It was a beautiful backdrop for the night’s events, MC’d by RSP Entertainment.

After a welcome toast from Cherilyn’s father and their first dance as bride and groom, Cherilyn and Justin cut their cake, by Sweet Fix. Their guests danced and imbibed into the late hours of the evening under the starry sky at Market at Grelen. They ended their east coast garden wedding night with a sparkler exit by their family and friends.
