I can’t get enough of the little baby toes in this in-home DC Newborn Session!
I’m sure that I don’t need to remind you that babies grow so fast. A big sentimentalist at heart, it amazes me how quickly squishy newborns grow into toddlers. I love focusing in on the teeny tiny details before they disappear forever!
This was such a full circle moment! Liesel and Brayden invited me into their home during its renovation for their cozy at-home engagement session, Liesel’s boudoir session to surprise Brayden, and then again for their wedding prep in 2019. It has been such an honor to document their family’s growth over the years!
In home sessions are almost always my favorite but especially when it comes to newborn sessions! The photos feel like a real snapshot of your story since its in your own space. Baby is always more comfortable in their home environment, both because this is a space they are used to and because parents can set the temperature to baby’s comfort level! Not having to worry about introducing germs or finding baby’s favorite toys to calm down cut down on stress because you’ll already have everything on hand.
These two have used a signature blue color through all of our sessions together, so seeing it decorating the walls in their baby’s nursery just gave me all of the feels. If you want to see some of their other sessions with me, click here!
