From garden ceremonies draped in Spanish moss to chic rooftop receptions with skyline views, Jacksonville offers a variety of stunning venues to match any style. Whether you envision an intimate waterfront ceremony or want to dance the night away in a historic mansion, Jax has it all.

This article will guide you through both hidden gems and the most sought-after wedding venues in Jacksonville – highlighting the distinctive vibes, amenities, and their most photogenic features. You’ll find venues that serve up incredible service, mouthwatering food, and the kind of atmosphere that makes every moment unforgettable.

So, let’s dive in and uncover Jacksonville’s best-kept secrets as we find the wedding venue that perfectly reflects you and your relationship.

Factors to consider when choosing a Jacksonville, Florida wedding venue

Finding the perfect wedding venue in Jacksonville, FL, is one of the most exciting (and crucial!) steps in bringing your big day to life. After all, your venue sets the tone for everything, from your attire to the overall vibe of the celebration.

One of the first things you’ll want to nail down is the size. Think about how many people you’re inviting. A venue that’s too small might leave your guests feeling crammed together, while one that’s too big can make the place feel a little… well, empty. Having a rough idea of your guest list before you start searching will help you narrow down the options and avoid any awkward sizing issues.

Venue location is another biggie. Jacksonville’s neighborhoods all have their own charm, but you’ll want to think about what makes the most sense for your guests. Is your venue close to hotels for your out-of-town crew? Is it easy to get to from the airports? Choosing a central location can make life a lot easier for your guests, this way they can focus on celebrating with you rather than stressing over directions. (Or worse… parking!)

And then there’s the vibe of the venue itself. No matter what style you’re looking for – modern, romantic, intimate, or impressive – the space should complement your aesthetic. So, keep an eye out for features like natural light, stunning architecture, or scenic views that give your wedding a WOW factor. Just make sure to ask about any rules or restrictions—things like noise limits or vendor requirements—so you can plan without surprises later on.

Now that we’ve got an idea of what we’re looking for, let’s explore the best wedding venues in Northeast Florida.

Discover the Top Jacksonville Florida Wedding Venues

The Ribault Club

If you’re after something with a little more history, The Ribault Club on Fort George Island might just be the spot. Surrounded by towering oak trees and overlooking the river, this historic venue offers picture perfect views – especially at sunset. The outdoor ceremony space is ideal for a sunset backdrop in your photos, but if the weather doesn’t play along – don’t worry! The 6,000-square-foot venue also offers indoor ceremony options too. The mix of historic charm and natural beauty is hard to beat!

Azaleana Manor

Located just 20 minutes from downtown in Orange Park, the Azaleana Manor sits on four acres of breathtaking grounds. Recently renovated, the beautiful wedding venue in Jacksonville has been able to maintain its historical charm (like huge oak trees dripping in Spanish Moss) while offering modern amenities (like black and white checkered marble floors!). Take advantage of the great room and its stunning views of the river, or plan a summertime event under the bistro lights in the manor’s beautiful garden. No matter your personal style, the photos are sure to be breathtaking!

European Inspired Wedding Venues in Jacksonville, Florida

Club Continental

Looking for a wedding venue with an Old World Florida atmosphere? Club Continental is the one to beat! Once owned by the family of B.J. Johnson, founder of the Palmolive Soap Company, in 1966, this stunning property was transformed into a luxurious hotel.

With Spanish-style arches, beautiful tilework, and Mediterranean-inspired decor, it really is one of the area’s most romantic event spaces. Imagine how special it would be to dance the night away under the branches of a 300-year-old oak tree and the St. Johns River just behind you!

Tuscan Rose Vineyard

If you’ve ever dreamed of getting married under the Tuscan sun, I have an idea for the perfect venue that doesn’t require you or your guests to cross the ocean – the Tuscan Rose Vineyard.

The 25-acre estate is surrounded by 100-year-old oak trees, fragrant rose gardens, and cypress tree lined pathways. The stone pillars and neutral palette of the venue are the perfect chic backdrop for the event of the decade!

Marywood Retreat & Conference Center

Looking for a wedding venue in Jacksonville with a more laidback feel? Marywood Retreat & Conference Center will be a beautiful choice! The European-style stone architecture and quiet courtyards give the property a romantic, old-world feel, while the oak trees and riverside views remind you that you’re still in Florida.

But the magic doesn’t stop outdoors. Perhaps the most charming spot in the venue is the River Room. Floor-to-ceiling windows and a patio draped in fairy lights – it’s perfect for cocktails and conversation.

Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club

While it’s hard to narrow down the best Jacksonville wedding venues, it’s much easier to choose the dreamiest. With its stunning veranda, private marina, and open grounds, Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club is the epitome of romance.

Thanks to its perfectly manicured English-style gardens, historic oak trees, and stone fountains, getting married here feels like stepping into a dreamscape. And the best bit? The venue is suited for both intimate gatherings and large celebrations.

Unique and Nontraditional Wedding Venues in Jacksonville, Florida

Deerwood Castle

Another stunning Jacksonville, Florida, wedding venue is Deerwood Castle. Originally the headquarters for Lamborghini North America, this unique wedding venue is well-loved for its distinctive atmosphere and modern amenities. Host your celebration in the open floor plan of Grand Hall or get married under ancient oak trees lined with cafe lights – either way, it’s guaranteed to be gorgeous!

Florida Theatre

With nearly 5,000 square feet on three levels, you won’t have to worry about having enough space here! The Florida Theatre is a beautifully restored venue dating back to the 1920s, featuring elaborate architecture and opulent decor for a dramatic and elegant space for ceremonies and receptions. The Florida Theatre can accommodate large weddings and offers a unique atmosphere that transports guests back in time, making it a truly special venue for couples who appreciate history.

Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens

One of the most unique wedding venues in Jacksonville is the Cummer Museum and its ivy covered archways. Imagine exchanging vows surrounded by lush, blooming gardens with the St. Johns River as your backdrop – or more than 5,000 unique works of art. Pure magic! The Cummer Museum is the perfect location for couples who want a memorable experience for themselves and their guests. Plus, the museum’s outdoor space has plenty of room for a larger guest list.

The Pavilion Fernandina Beach

Fernandina’s newest event space, The Pavilion is calling for a visionary to shape the space with fashion-forward styling. At first glance, the space may seem a little plain, but the right event designers can transform the covered pavilion with luxe draping and a checkered dance floor to create a night your guests will never forget. And with its antique charm tucked into tropical corners around the property, there are plenty of beautiful pockets to take editorial-inspired photos that blur the line between mod NYC nightclub and the tropics of Florida.

Wedding Venues in JAX with an Industrial or Minimalist Feel

The Blanche

The Blanche is an elegant mix of old-style charm and modern conveniences. The building, which dates back to 1902, was renovated in 1920 and now offers one of Jacksonville’s most versatile event spaces.

Unlike venues that feel too stark, The Blanche strikes the balance of being a blank canvas you can customize, while still having its own personality to shine through. Its romantic arched windows, patterned tile, and chandeliers glittering overhead creates a charming atmosphere. With both indoor and outdoor options, The Blanche is ideal for couples who want flexibility, character, and a backdrop that will look stunning in photos.

The Glass Factory

Another remarkable indoor venue is the The Glass Factory, a former industrial space that has been transformed into an incredibly stylish event venue. With its high ceilings, exposed brick walls, and large windows, The Glass Factory offers a chic setting that can be a blank canvas to fit any style. You can really take advantage of the flexibility of this venue, allowing them to create a unique atmosphere that reflects your personal style while enjoying the industrial-chic aesthetic.

Private 131

One of the newest additions to Jacksonville’s event space, Private 131 boasts ocean views of Jacksonville Beach and Latham Park. Here, you can take advantage of a luxurious 2,100-square-foot ballroom, 1,600 square feet of outdoor balconies, and an impressive getting ready space. (That means, there’s room for everyone you love to move comfortably through every stage of your event!)

Perhaps the biggest benefit of planning your special day here is the flexibility it offers. Unlike most wedding venues in Jacksonville, Florida, Private 131 allows for almost any outside vendor.

Historic Jacksonville, Florida Wedding Venues

Old Spanish Quarter

The Old Spanish Quarter is impressive without being overwhelming, which is why it’s one of my favorite wedding locations in Jacksonville. Handcrafted tile floors, plenty of natural light and lush greenery, stunning iron chandeliers – here, every detail is carefully curated to fit a neutral color palette with distinctly Floridian architecture.

Karpeles Grand

This Classical Revival style building was once the First Church of Christ Scientist, with the stained glass windows to prove it! Later on, the Karpeles Grand became the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum, so it’s safe to say, it will be the perfect choice for couples who appreciate spaces with rich history and plenty of character! Original plaster designs, 27-foot ceilings, and towering cream colored columns – this wedding venue in Jacksonville is like a slice of DC elegance.

Jacksonville Public Library

Weddings can be expensive, but Jacksonville offers several budget-friendly venues that don’t compromise on beauty or charm. One such option is The Jacksonville Public Library, which provides a stunning backdrop for weddings at a fraction of the cost. The library’s modern architecture and beautiful interiors create a sophisticated atmosphere. Couples can choose from various spaces within the library, including outdoor areas, making it an excellent choice for those looking to save without sacrificing style.

Waterfront Wedding Venues in Jacksonville FL

Omni Amelia Island Resort

If your vision of a dream wedding is with your toes in the sand, consider the Omni Amelia Island Resort. The oceanfront, award-winning hotel has over 80,000 square feet of event space featuring sophisticated ballrooms with modern decor and beautiful chandeliers.

The hotel provides a luxurious atmosphere, along with experienced staff who can assist in executing your vision seamlessly. With ample space for both ceremonies and receptions, it is an excellent choice for a more traditional indoor wedding.

Or if you’d rather celebrate off the beach, the resort also offers the Oceanview Terrace with sweeping views, the private Walker’s Landing surrounded by marshland, and oak-shaded lawns draped in Spanish moss – each just as magical in its own way.

Ponte Vedra Inn & Club

One of the best views of the Atlantic Ocean in Jacksonville is the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club. This five-star hotel offers a number of different spaces for celebrating, from a barefoot ceremony in the sand, a lively tented party on the South Lawn, or a classic ballroom reception.

If you prefer something more intimate, there are also charming spots for smaller gatherings, like the Surf Club Patio or Oceanfront Courtyard, where you can dance beneath the stars. Plus, all your guests can stay close by with over 300 accommodations to choose from!

The River House

Whether you want an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception or vice versa, the River House will be an excellent choice for a more intimate waterfront experience. This charming venue offers a cozy, laid-back environment with an outdoor deck where you can exchange vows while overlooking the water and a view of the St. Augustine Light House. There are many indoor options available on the property too, like the Grand Ballroom (which can accommodate 240 guests) or the smaller Conservatory (which has a lovely ‘garden room’ feel). Either way, you should give the library a quick tour – it’s one of my favorite corners inside this beautiful space!

Oyster Bay Yacht Club

All-inclusive wedding venues can simplify the planning process, allowing couples to focus on enjoying their special day. One of the top choices in Jacksonville is Oyster Bay Yacht Club. This coastal-casual yet elegant venue provides a stunning setting for ceremonies and receptions of up to 150 guests. The all-inclusive nature of this venue means you and your guests can sit back and enjoy a candlelit dinner together as the sun sets across the water, knowing that all details are taken care of by experienced professionals.

Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront

Another fantastic wedding venue in Jacksonville is the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. You can have your party in the opulent Grand Ballroom or have a more laid-back (but no less stylish) affair on the hotel’s River Deck. With the lights from downtown glittering over the water, this space is a great option for people hoping to host their celebration and their guests all in one place!

Timeless Wedding Venues in Northeast Florida

San Jose Country Club

Whether you’re an avid golfer or simply love the idea of perfect greenery surrounding you, having your celebration on a golf course offers many benefits. For instance, at the San Jose Country Club, you can live out your Cinderella dreams and arrive at your reception in a charming horse-drawn carriage.

Old St. Andrews Church

The Old St. Andrews Church is another impressive historic venue. This charming church, built in the early 1900s, boasts stunning stained glass windows and classic architecture – without a dated or dark interior. The warm ambiance and clean lines make it an ideal location for couples looking for a traditional church wedding. The historical significance of the church adds an extra layer of meaning to the ceremony, making it a memorable choice for couples wanting to honor their love and faith in a place with rich heritage.

Venue 841

Last but certainly not least in my list of best Jacksonville, Florida, wedding venues –  Venue 841. Positioned right on the banks of the St. Johns River, you can find all of the best views of Downtown Jacksonville at the tip of your fingers here.
